DJ Brett Live has performed in many unique and interesting locations. Recently, it was on the Queen Mary, an opulent luxury liner known for elegance and sophistication, spanning many decades back to the 1930’s. DJ Brett was invited to bring music and excitement to a wedding reception to be held in the First Class Lounge, the Queen’s grand ballroom.
The load-in provided a behind-the-scenes tour of the venue and the ship. Like most locations, behind the scenes is a bit more operational and gritty than the more elegant and polished front-of-house.
The main ballroom is a beautiful space with high ceilings, elegant lighting, and gold accents. A fitting setting for a 1930’s inspired wedding reception. It seemed as though we had gone back in time.
Many of the guests dressed in period attire, complementing the early century theme. Cake cutting and other ceremonial moments were followed by live entertainment performed by a friend of the bride. DJ Brett Live motivated the guests onto the dance floor for an evening of great music, dancing, and celebration.
